1. Minimum 3 years experience adminstering
Windows Server environments.
2. Ability to implement new solutions
and technologies, particularly in
the areas of NT standardization,
network storage, clustering, management
tools and the planning of a Windows
2000 migration
3. Ability to help troubleshoot server
and networking problems.
4. Must be willing to work in a 24x7
environment and be part of an on-call
rotation.
5. Strong hardware skills, including
knowledge of SCSI and RAID configurations.
6. Strong working knowledge with
network protocols (TCPIP, SNMP, SMTP).
7. Knowledge of system administration
tools, backup utilities, hardware
and software monitoring tools such
as insight Manager and Tivoli.
8. Customer focused and work well
in team environment.
9. Knowledge of scripting languages
(Perl), IIS, MS SQL server, VBScript,
Windows Script Host, MS Cluster Server
and Netscape server a plus.
10. MCSE Certification is a plus |
